The Real Story of Christmas

Have it always been snowing, laughter, bells ringing and Santa Claus or even Jesus being born into such a happy environment? Think again..

I was at a Christian fellowship with my other fellow students on campus listening to the talk about repentance given by Rev. Pax Tan.

What caught my attention and thoughts for the night was merely about the life of Jesus and how He came as God and also as man to identify with people lower than u and I. When I say this, it has to show the humility in all of this and it ain't just about having no money but more negative that the world would normally have rejected "it" among them.

What I was referring to were the poor, the rejects, those who don't smell the same as everyone else, the bastards, prostitutes, loan sharks, prisoners, refugees, those have are different and ain't accepted in general by the community. Jesus came to live among us, that's y He was known as Immanuel, which meant God with us, man of this world.

He was born in such an environment where u would not ever believe how scandalous the situation was. I never thought of this story in that manner, I have always thought that Jesus was born in such and such a place but things like sleeping around and getting impregnated, smell like animals, being a true disgrace, and the whole story was a fraud. It was so saddening and there's much negative emotions revolving around His birth. And yet many failed to see this and still sings "Joy to the World" approaching Christmas when all it truly was on earth was anger, disappointment, sadness, betrayal, jealousy, lies, gossips and things as such rather than what everyone thought it is, let's see, happiness, laughter, joy, magic, comfy, warm, 5 star hotel, a luxurious place of birth for the little king.

We were challenge to ask is this an accident or was it all planned that he will be given birth to in a manger (place where animals have their meals). Being the King of kings, the only begotten Son of God, I can't imagine someone like that to even be born in a place of such as the manger. Any earthly parents would never have done something like that to their children, don't u think so?

Nevertheless, for that have been spoken, i have really been very blessed by the message he has to share with the students of our Christian fellowship. It is always important to have revelations of then Word every now and then and I believed that night, we did! Praise unto God

I hope all of you are blessed or inspired by this sharing.

P. S. Sorry for the profanity used in the context.
